Vega was originally called Folkets Hus, and for many years used a political meeting point. It was built in 1956 by Vilhelm Lauritzen, who also designed Copenhagen Airport and several other prominent buildings in Copenhagen. The architecture is inspired by the funkis style and the interior is very graphical oriented.
