Justs and Heartbeat will perform as song number 20!

After a grand opening performance as song #01 of the Second Semi Final, Justs arrived to the winner of the 2nd semi press conference. With a big smile and a feeling of satisfaction and gratefulness, Justs sat among his fellow winners of the night, ready for the questions from the press and waiting for their turn to draw either 1st or 2nd half of the Grand Final.

Justs had to wait till the very end. And as soon as Polen had drawn the last spot in the 1st half, it was clear to all that Latvia would perform in the 2nd half.

It was a happy but also tired Team Heartbeat that returned to the hotel last night. Now there is a Grand Final to think about and luckily for all of us viewers, the flame is burning brighter and brighter and we can expect yet another heartfelt, inviting and powerful performance from Justs on Saturday.

It's now or never - we feel your heartbeat!

2Pixies enjoyed the Georgian get together

Today we were invited to join the Georgian delegation at their get together with the Georgian Ambassador and their Swedish friendship community who were the hosts for the day.

The surroundings were spectacular. The event took place at Kulturfyren on Skeppsholmen amongst houseboats and creative ateliers. Great place to spend an afternoon in Stockholm!

While we wait for the concert to begin we use our time well and read about the beautiful country Georgia.

The Geordian ambassador welcomes us

And then it's time for some music

Nika Kocharov and Young Georgian Lolitaz
Nika Kocharov and Young Georgian Lolitaz is a London based band. Their music is indie rock, and they took us on a musical journey to the indie rock and Britpop centre stage where Green day and Oasis once ruled the world, but now the Nika & Young Georgian Lolitaz has taken over!

Thank you for at great concert and for the treat of traditional delicates you served for your guest.
It was a lovely lovely evening.

Here's a video clip of Midnight Gold in a special acoustic version.

Today Team Heartbeat went to the Lavian Embassy

The Latvian Ambassador Gints Jegermanis, a lovely man and Eurovision fan as well, welcomed once again the Latvian delegation into his house for a cosy mingle with friends of the Embassy.

We met him and his family back in 2012 in Copenhagen, when Latvia was competing in Eurovision in Malmö. At that time he was the Latvian ambassador in Denmark.
It was great to meet him again and like last time the evening's event started in the backyard with an intimate concert with both Justs and Aminata. Afterwards, the embassy had arranged a Swedish/Latvian "Fika" with sweet specialities from Latvia.

Fun fact: This is the place where the Latvian group Brainstorm also performed back in 2000. We were told it's considered "holy ground" for the Latvians, since Brainstorm not only started the Latvian journey within the Eurovision Song Conetst, but also came in in 3rd.
Two years later Latvia won the contest with Marie N.
