The big day is here!

At this moment, the 2Pixies are sitting in the press centre watching the last dress rehearsal (Family Final) before the big show tonight.

Justs has just been singing his Heartbeat and once again it looked and sounded absolutely amazing! We were looking forward to see how the starting order would affect the overall impression, and even though Justs is singing right after the fan favourite Spain and before the top rated Ukraine, Justs is still a standout!

Since Thursday's semi-final Justs has increased in rankings and website ESC votings and took the number 1 place in the voting at Escnation.com. Impressive!


The odds are looking good for tonight!

Justs fra Letland har en særlig Eurovision-hilsen til Danmark!

I aften er det tid til den anden semifinale i årets Eurovision Song Contests, hvor Danmark og Lighthouse X deltager sammen med 17 andre lande i fælles håb om at vinde en af pladserne i finalen.
Blandt dagens deltagende artister er Letlands Justs, der skal synge deres bidrag 'Heartbeat'.
I den forbindelse har Justs en særlig hilsen til danskerne!

Sangen Heartbeat er skrevet af Letlands vinder fra sidste år, Aminata, der dengang brød med mange års bad luck og tog Letland til finalen og blev nummer 6 med sangen 'Love Injected'.

I år har hun skrevet den lettiske sang og har sammen med Justs skabt et powerteam. Som et par nøje afbalancerede petanguekugler er de klar til at kaste sig ud i kampen om grisen.

Husk at Danmark kan stemme i semifinalen i aften.

Aminata has arrived to Globen

Last year Aminata took Latvia all the way to top five. This year she has teamed up with Justs to fight their way to the top spot!

Today she came straight from Riga and jumped off the plane and went to Globen for the second rehearsals. The rehearsal went well and the team looks forward to the 2nd Semi Final on Tuesday.

Busy Nordic Friday

Friday was a busy day for the Latvian delegation. The weather in Stockholm greeted us with sun, sun sun! A perfect day to take a stroll in the city of Eurovision.

Justs met up with Laura from Belgium and longboarded his way through the Tunnelbana and streets of Stockholm:

The night ended at EuroClub - the place to be for all delegates and accreditated! - where the Nordic countries had put together a little get together. There were bite size tastings from all countries, and performances from participating artists.
